I work for BOK Financial as a mobile developer. I also run Cheese and Bacon Games, an independent game development company I founded in 2010.

I have ten years of programming experience, beginning as a self-taught kid, and more recently on-the-job and in school. My language of choice is C++, but I’ve written code in a number of others. If you want to see some of my open source work, check out my GitHub profile.
As for writing, my main areas of interest are gaming, history, and (unsurprisingly) computer software. I am open to writing about other subjects, and I actually love to learn about new things, so give me a ring or a text or an email or something.
I come from Owasso, Oklahoma, USA (a town made famous by Penny Arcade).
I have a BS in Computer Science from Northeastern State University and a BA in Philosophy from The University of Oklahoma.
I have also studied Classical Cultures, Mathematics, and Accounting.
Other work I have done includes fast food, retail, pool cleaning, and bioinformatics research.
I have been playing computer games since I was a tiny noob. Somehow I am still not that great at many of them. The earliest game I remember playing is a Pong-like, and it only had two colors. Sadly I no longer know what the PC was called. I started playing console and handheld games a little later: my first handheld was a Game Boy Color, and my first console was a Nintendo 64.
My main operating system is Linux, but I’ve got a Mac and multiple Windows drives floating around. Because emulators and virtualization software exist, I also occasionally use a variety of other operating systems old and new. My phone runs Android. My house is computers everywhere and a bed.
Aside from the interests listed above, I like to read (comics, books, internet things), watch movies, talk about how amazing or terrible the movies I watch are, and learn just enough about various topics to be dangerous.
My wife is super supportive and awesome, and her name is Aneissa. She sometimes helps out with Cheese and Bacon Games stuff.
I find islands intoxicating.
I find I know less now than before I did all of the things listed above.
